Job Summary and Qualifications

The Recovery Audit Contractor Specialist is responsible for performing aily appeal audit follow- up, monitoring Recovery Audit Contractor audit trends and issues and updated financial transactions.

In this role you will:

• Review medical records and other documentation for accuracy and professional appearance and send Recovery Audit Contractor appeal package accordingly.
• Monitor Recovery Audit Contractor takebacks and appeal status by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims denied for clinical reasons
• Identify problem claims and trends and escalate as appropriate
• Update the RRT and any other systems (Artiva, SSD Web Tools) to identify actions taken on the account
• Work with Recovery Audit Contractor Agencies to secure payment on account balances outstanding

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of experience in related area required.
