Recovery Executive

Job Summary:

The Recovery Executive is responsible for managing and recovering overdue payments from customers or clients. The role involves contacting defaulters, negotiating repayment plans, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding dues while maintaining good customer relationships and adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact delinquent customers via phone, email, or in-person visits to follow up on overdue payments.
• Negotiate repayment terms and schedules that are feasible for both the company and the customer.
• Maintain accurate records of communication, promises to pay (PTP), and payment follow-ups.
• Monitor assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
• Work with legal or third-party agencies if required for escalation of cases.
• Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets set by the management.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to payments.
• Educate customers on the consequences of non-payment and offer appropriate solutions.
• Generate and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to the Recovery Manager.
• Ensure all recovery efforts comply with company policy and local laws/regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Proven experience in collections, recovery, or customer service roles (1-3 years preferred).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and deal with difficult customers professionally.
• Basic knowledge of legal aspects related to debt recovery.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and CRM/collection software.
• Willingness to travel locally for field recovery (if applicable).

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in financial services, banking, NBFCs, or telecom recovery roles.
• Knowledge of local languages (in addition to English/Hindi).
• Target-driven and self-motivated.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based with potential field visits (depending on role).
• May require working on weekends or extended hours to meet targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
