Recovery Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Recovery Officer to join our real estate team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments from clients, maintaining recovery records, and coordinating with the accounts and sales departments to ensure smooth financial operations. The candidate must be confident in communication, proactive in following up with clients, and experienced in handling recovery-related matters within the real estate or property sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and dues.
• Maintain and update client payment records regularly.
• Prepare and send notices or reminders for overdue payments.
• Coordinate with the accounts and sales teams to verify payment details and resolve discrepancies.
• Visit clients when necessary for recovery purposes and maintain professionalism during all interactions.
• Draft recovery letters and manage documentation related to payment settlements.
• Provide weekly and monthly recovery reports to management.
• Suggest effective strategies to minimize outstanding amounts and improve collection efficiency.
• Handle recovery-related customer queries and disputes diplomatically.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in recovery, collections, or accounts receivables (preferably in the real estate sector).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good command over MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and target-driven.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
