Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to transport cars and trucks. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent navigational skills, and a commitment to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.

Transport goods or passengers to designated locations within scheduled time frames.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secured properly and handled with care.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using GPS or maps as needed.

Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.

Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues that arise during transit.

Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for commercial vehicles).

Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

Proven experience as a driver, with a track record of safe and reliable driving.

Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

Ability to read and interpret maps and GPS directions.

Good physical condition and stamina to handle the demands of the job.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with specific types of vehicles (e.g., delivery trucks, passenger vehicles).

Familiarity with safety and emergency procedures.

Ability to handle basic vehicle repairs and troubleshooting.

Working Conditions:

The job may require long hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Drivers may be required to handle varying weather conditions and road types.

Physical requirements include lifting and carrying heavy items, as well as sitting for extended periods.
