Technician + Driver – Nokia Projects

Job Purpose:

The Technician + Driver will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Nokia telecom sites while ensuring safe transportation of tools, equipment, and team members to project locations. This role combines technical fieldwork with logistics support to enable smooth execution of Nokia projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company/project vehicle for safe and timely transportation of engineers, technicians, and equipment to site locations.
• Assist engineers in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Nokia telecom equipment (BTS, NodeB, eNodeB, power units, and related infrastructure).
• Carry out basic cabling, grounding, and equipment mounting tasks under engineer’s supervision.
• Support in performing site surveys, routine checks, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Maintain vehicle in good running condition (fueling, cleanliness, minor checks).
• Ensure safe loading, unloading, and handling of telecom tools and equipment.
• Comply with health, safety, and project quality standards during site work and driving.
• Maintain accurate records of travel logs, fuel usage, and site assistance activities.
• Provide on-ground assistance during troubleshooting and emergency support at sites.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / Certification in Telecom / Electrical / Electronics (preferred).
• Valid UAE driving license with clean driving record.
• 1–3 years of experience as a technician/field assistant in telecom projects (Nokia experience preferred).
• Basic knowledge of telecom installation, cabling, and power systems.
• Physically fit and able to work in field conditions (towers, rooftops, remote sites).  Good communication skills and ability to follow engineer’s instructions.

Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,200.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
