Recruiter/HR Assistant

Job Summary:
The Recruiter/HR Assistant role involves handling recruiting and onboarding tasks, and maintaining employee records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of balancing administrative and interpersonal responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with posting job advertisements and screening candidates.
• Coordinate interview schedules and follow up with applicants.
• Facilitate onboarding of new hires, including paperwork, background checks, and orientation scheduling.
• Maintain and update employee files to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal documentation requirements.
• Track completion of in-services, competencies, and performance evaluations.
• Support employee communication and documentation requests as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience in HR or administrative roles is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Work Environment:

• Office-based role with standard weekday hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and move about the office for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of office supplies and files up to 20 lbs.
