1. Job Purpose
The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to meet the company's current and future staffing needs. The role requires working closely with line managers to understand their requirements and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
2. Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Recruitment Manager in identifying staffing needs and candidate profiles.
* Write and post job descriptions on job boards, company websites, and social media.
* Assist in sourcing candidates using databases, social media, job boards, and networking.
* Screen resumes and job applications to shortlist qualified candidates.
* Conduct initial phone/video interviews and evaluate candidates' fit.
* Coordinate interviews with Line Managers, the HR Manager, and provide feedback on the candidates.
* Maintain candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System.
* Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
* Track and report key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire).
* Stay up-to-date with hiring trends, talent market conditions, and sourcing strategies.
* Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
3. Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Work Experience:
* Proven work experience as a recruiter (in-house or agency) for 5 years.
* Hands-on experience with HR databases.
* Skills:
* Familiarity with job boards and sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Naukri).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple roles and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong decision-making and negotiation skills.
* Certifications: Certification in Talent Acquisition (e.g., SHRM, AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Recruiter).
4. Job Complexity/Judgment
* Ability to timely complete assigned work.
* Ability to carry out work in accordance with SLA agreements with clients.
* Ability to satisfy both internal and external customers.
5. Key Relationships (Internal & External)
* Internal: Stakeholders.
* External: Recruitment agencies.
