Recruitment Officer

The Recruitment Officer is responsible to lead, co-plan, and implement the overall attraction, recruitment and selection strategies in alignment with the existing approved manpower plan, processes & budgets. He is responsible in ensuring the right person is selected at the right time with the right cost.

JOB CONTEXT & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Create a source bank and conduct continuous sourcing of potential candidates for the company’s present and future requirements.

2. Establish contacts with recruitment agencies in the hiring of confidential and critical positions.

3. Place advertisements, in different mediums such as Social media, LinkedIn, Naukri, Bayut, Referrals, Advertisement etc

4. Conduct reference checks for specific positions and perform appropriate measures and recommendation to Group HR Manager in case of negative feedback.

5. Conduct initial telephone and walk-in resume interviews.

6. Shortlist, screen, select and endorse qualified candidates to respective requesting departments.

7. Arrange and confirm appointments between the candidate and requesting department for succeeding and final interviews.

8. Prepare job offers for selected candidates and letter of rejection to unsuccessful candidates.

9. Provide complete set of documents to the PR Officer for visa processing procedures.

10. Follow up & ensure completeness of documents upon the selected successful interviews and upon commencement of employment with company.

11. Ensure that job descriptions are available for all new manpower requisitions prior to commencement of recruitment activity.

12. Conduct orientation & induction to new employees on their first day.

13. Ensure a positive candidate experience to all applicants who undergo the recruitment stages whether hired or not.

Perform other duties which may be assigned from time to time and which is not substantially different from Recruitment and HR function.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in UAE Recruitment in a customer-service oriented industry

JOB PREREQUISITES/ SKILLS

. Advanced skills in attracting and sourcing candidates

· Ability to use and administer different assessment tools

· Advanced candidate management skills

· High integrity and work ethics

· Proficiency with Microsoft Windows applications

· Knowledge and awareness of the UAE Labour Law

· Excellent interpersonal relations, smart and flexible

· Team player, driven and can work with high energy for long hours

Language: English, Arabic (Mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
