Recruitment Specialist

Summary:

Peerstar is seeking a motivated and organized Recruitment Specialist to support hiring efforts across our growing behavioral health organization. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting activities including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting the onboarding process. The Recruitment Specialist plays an important role in helping Peerstar attract talented individuals who are passionate about supporting recovery and community-based services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for positions including peer support specialists and program staff.
• Post and manage job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
• Screen resumes, conduct candidate outreach, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
• Support onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and timelines.
• Assist with recruitment events, job fairs, and community outreach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or human services preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms preferred.
