Join our dynamic dermatology practice as a Referral Specialist/Front Desk EXP. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for healthcare, excellent communication skills, and experience in medical office settings. You will be the first point of contact for patients and providers, managing referrals, insurance verifications, and patient scheduling with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help ensure our clinic runs smoothly while providing a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their insurance coverage, and gather necessary medical information to facilitate appointments
• Manage referral processes by coordinating with primary care providers and specialists to ensure timely authorizations and documentation
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
• Schedule appointments efficiently while accommodating patient needs and provider availability
• Assist patients with billing inquiries related to insurance verification and coverage details
• Support the front desk team by handling phone calls, appointment confirmations, and general administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Prior office experience is required, preferably within dermatology!!
• Familiarity with managed care processes, insurance verification .
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security
• Multi-line phone systems.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and office procedures to facilitate smooth communication between staff and patients
• Referrals..in-coming to schedule with our practice.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
