Refrigeration Design Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Refrigeration Design Engineer to support the design and development of cold rooms, refrigeration systems, and industrial cooling solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering efficient, reliable, and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design refrigeration systems including cold rooms, freezers, and warehouse cooling solutions
• Perform cooling load calculations and select appropriate equipment
• Prepare technical submittals, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Coordinate with sales, project teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, standards, and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 3–5 years of experience in refrigeration or HVAC design
• Strong knowledge of cold storage systems and refrigeration components
• Proficiency in design software and equipment selection tools
• Experience with Freon-based systems; knowledge of CO₂ or R290 systems is an advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with international standards (ASHRAE, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills
