Regional Accounting Manager

Job Title: Regional Accounting Manager
Location: Northwest Region

Job Type: Full time / Exempt

Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic Regional Accounting Manager to lead accounting functions across multiple operating companies in the Northwest Region and provide on-site operational support. This role focuses on improving efficiency, ensuring consistency and supporting compliance across regional locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational financial support by delivering financial insights and partnering with local leadership to drive informed decisions.
  • Oversee and lead regional accounting functions including Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management Credit & Collections, and Accounts Payable
  • Train and develop back-office staff and foster a positive on-site culture to ensure strong performance and alignment with Company goals
  • Monitor and maintain accounting systems and subledgers, resolve recurring issues, and support resolution of internal and external customer account concerns
  • Collaborate with HQ Accounting team to complete timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, including review of Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L Statements
  • Coordinate budgets and report on actual vs budgeted figures
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards, while delivering financial insights to support decision-making and assisting leadership in implementing company-wide initiatives
  • Ad hoc projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills with a proactive mindset
  • Proven experience with enterprise-level ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to independently solve complex problems

Location: This position is primarily on-site at one of the main locations of the region’s operating companies.

  • Regular in-person attendance is required Monday through Friday
  • Occasional travel (up to 25%) will be required. Required onsite visits monthly to each operating company.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to move between offices in the facility

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
