Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailers across regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Drive a range of trucks including manual transmission units, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized equipment.
  • Load and unload freight efficiently using forklift or manual methods as required, ensuring cargo integrity and safety.
  • Manage route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the road.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid CDL A license; experience with manual transmissions is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate various truck types including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
  • Prior delivery driver experience involving freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving in regional settings.
  • Familiarity with forklift operation for loading/unloading cargo is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving, freight security, and vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,400.00 per week
