Alumni and Stakeholder Engagement (ASE), working in a collaborative partnership with the UW Alumni Association , fulfills its mission to advance higher education in the state of Washington and to support the UW through impactful, broad-based engagement with alumni, students, retirees and friends of the University. This starts with creating a culture of belonging within our organization that values the diverse experiences and expertise of our team members, allowing everyone to thrive and to contribute their unique talents as we strive to achieve our shared goals.
Alumni & Stakeholder Engagement has an exciting opening for a Regional Engagement Coordinator. This is a part-time, temporary position contracted for four (4) months.
The temporary Regional Engagement Coordinator will work in partnership with the Senior Director of Membership & Engagement Strategy to co-design and execute programs that engage the alumni and stakeholder communities that reside in regional markets outside of Puget Sound. These programs are created to deepen affinity, foster a sense of belonging, increase engagement and nurture lifelong relationships with the University for alumni, volunteers, students, donors, parents and friends of the University of Washington and nurture lifelong relationships with the University.
This position will primarily work on program development for three of the UW’s six major markets, from program development to event execution. In addition, this role will manage regional daily operations, including, but not limited to, email, listserv management and regional volunteer communications.

The salary information provided below is for a full-time position and will be prorated for part- time .
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in development/alumni relations, community engagement, event planning, public relations, project management, or related field.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
