We are hiring for Regional Head - South ( Warehouse operations)
Location : Chennai
Experience : 15+ years (5+ years managing multiple Warehouses)
Qualification : Master’s (preferred) /Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,
# Operational Leadership:
Lead and manage warehousing operations across the Southern region, ensuring seamless execution, efficiency, and compliance with service standards.
# Strategic Development:
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity across all warehouse facilities.
# Inventory Management:
Oversee and control inventory management processes to ensure accuracy, timely reporting, and optimal stock levels across locations.
# Compliance & Safety:
Ensure adherence to all statutory, safety, and environmental regulations while fostering a culture of safety and compliance in the workplace.
# Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with sales, freight, and other business teams to align warehousing operations with overall business objectives, ensuring superior customer service and operational synergy.
# Performance Analysis:
Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
# Team Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor regional warehousing staff to build a high- performing team culture focused on excellence, accountability, and professional growth.
# Financial Oversight:
Manage and monitor the regional warehousing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness, financial discipline, and achievement of profitability targets.
# Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction.
# Industry Awareness:
Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain and warehousing to maintain competitive advantage.
# Inventory & Asset Control:
Ensure 100% inventory and asset accuracy through regular audits, reconciliations, and process improvements.
# Customer Engagement:
Enhance customer satisfaction and retention by driving proactive engagement, regular KPI reporting, and participation in customer performance reviews.
# SOP Development & Implementation:
Oversee the development, implementation, and adherence to customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent operational excellence.
