Regional Media Lead-MIA

About the Role: Be the driving force behind media strategy transformation across the KFC MIA region. This role partners closely with the Global Media Director, Global Media COE, and local media agencies to unlock growth through elevated media planning, execution, and innovation. Your impact will be measured by stronger ROAS, transactions, and ESOV.


What You’ll Do

Media Strategy & Execution

  • Lead annual media planning across all regional markets
  • Establish standard procedures for consistent media execution
  • Build campaign planning frameworks with a digital-first mindset for underdeveloped markets
  • Own and optimise media performance tracking and strategic recommendations
  • Lead business reviews and partner tech evaluations
  • Create and manage playbooks, toolkits, and knowledge platforms
  • Manage the Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) framework: from data inputs to actionable insights

Collaboration Across Teams

  • Partner with Brand, Commercial, and E-Commerce to align planning, execution, and measurement
  • Champion a performance culture, embedding MMM, attribution, and lift studies into campaign reviews

Media COE Leadership

  • Serve as regional lead for KFC Global Media COE
  • Ensure media hygiene and global best practices are upheld
  • Review and align all market media plans with global standards
  • Identify gaps in performance and offer improvement strategies

Performance & Innovation

  • Work with analytics teams to derive insights and identify opportunities
  • Lead test-and-learn pilots in growth markets (esp. Africa)
  • Provide local market data and insights to global initiatives


What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related
  • 7–10 years in media planning, buying, and strategy (agency or brand side)
  • Proven experience with cross-country media campaigns (online and offline)
  • Expertise in media metrics, digital channels, and optimisation strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management and agency leadership experience
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Experience in retail, QSR, or food service is a plus
