Purpose of the Role-
Manage financial markets sales for the small and medium enterprises (SME) and retail segment by advising and selling foreign exchange, derivatives, risk management solutions to clients, as well as sourcing new clients, to drive revenue growth and profitability for YES Bank, while adhering to internal and external regulatory requirements across multiple regions. This is an individual contributor role and candidate is typically based out of a Regional location providing coverage to a large geographical area.
Responsibilities-
Functional Planning and Strategy

Assist in gathering inputs and data to support the creation of the financial market’s business strategy, including market trends, client feedback, and competitor analysis.

Support the execution of Retail FM sales strategy by aligning daily activities with defined objectives and contributing to the achievement of short-term and long-term goals. Participate in Zonal Retail FM sales planning discussions and provide operational support.
Policies, Processes and Procedures

Support the implementation of Retail FM Sales policies, processes, and procedures by providing feedback from day-to-day operations and ensuring adherence within the team.

Assist in handling non-compliance cases by escalating issues to senior management and helping identify recurring gaps to suggest improvements in existing processes.
Retail & SME Sales Management

Lead the advisory and sales for Foreign Exchange (FX), Derivatives, and Risk Management Solutions to SME and retail clients, to deliver customized solutions aligned with their financial goals and requirements.

Spearhead the sourcing of new clients to offer customized FX solutions in compliance with regulations, while ensuring tailored strategies to meet the specific needs.

Continuously monitor existing portfolio to track performance metrics across volumes/income to drive FX business growth.

Contribute to product development initiatives by gathering client feedback, supporting technology adoption.

Coordinate documentation processes for FX transactions, ensuring timely and accurate completion in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
Relationship Management

Drive the management of customer relationships, by addressing both service and sales inquiries to foster customer engagement and retention, thereby contributing to long-term business growth and profitability.

Coordinate with internal business units/channels to identify Forex cross-selling opportunities and assist in delivering integrated solutions that contribute to fee income growth.

Collaborate with Financial Markets risk advisors, relationship managers, and product teams at the regional or branch level to help expand client relationships and support new client acquisition efforts.
Education-
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent
Preferred:
Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent
Experience-
Essential:
5+ years of experience in financial markets/ treasury in banking industry and overall 8+ years of Banking Experience
Preferred: 10+ of experience in financial markets/ treasury in banking industry.
