The Role
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing Dhofar Global business unit sales performance across the UAE, Oman, KSA and Qatar. This role drives business growth through strategic sales planning, team leadership, and market expansion initiatives. Working closely with the Chief Sales Officer and other key stakeholders, the HORECA Regional Sales Director develops and executes sales strategies, oversees sales operations, manages key client relationships, and ensures accurate forecasting and reporting to achieve sales targets. The position plays a critical role in increasing market share, expanding into new opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to regional markets. • Contribute to the sales leadership team and support the CSO in designing and executing overall sales plans. • Set and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics aligned with company objectives. • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and anticipate industry trends. • Manage the regional sales budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources. Team Leadership & Development • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals. • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of regional sales staff. • Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement. • Provide regular professional development opportunities to enhance team skills. Business Development • Analyze regional market conditions to identify new business opportunities and competitive challenges. • Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients to secure new business. • Provide industry and sales trend insights to the Commercial team for market expansion and product diversification. Client Relationship Management • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive retention and repeat business. • Act as the main point of contact for major accounts and resolve escalated issues promptly. • Ensure exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions. Sales Operations & Reporting • Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of HORECA sales results. • Utilize CRM systems to manage client interactions and track sales activities. • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports to senior management. Collaboration & Coordination • Partner with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials. • Coordinate with operations and service delivery teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and regional regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or related field. • Proven experience in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in the facility management sector. • Minimum 10 years of experience • Experience in UAE market Oman & KSA added advantage • In-depth knowledge of away from home hygiene business, regional market dynamics, and industry-specific challenges. • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets • Industry: Hygiene industry preferable, Chemicals, Machine equipment, FMCG • Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Strategic thinker with the ability to interpret market data and trends. • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools. • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
