Regional Sales Director – MENA Headquarters (RHQ)

Job Description:

The Regional Sales Director for MENA Headquarters (RHQ) will be a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the sales strategy and execution across the Middle East and North Africa region. This executive will lead a diverse team of sales professionals, developing high-performing talent while cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and clients. As an advocate for the company's vision, the Regional Sales Director will leverage market insights, global best practices, and customer-centric strategies to enhance sales performance, penetrate new markets, and achieve target revenue objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in sales management, with a strong focus on results-driven leadership in a multicultural context.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in sales and business development, preferably within the MENA region.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing sales teams, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop talent.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies specific to the MENA region.
  • Excellent understanding of financial metrics and ability to interpret and analyze sales data for strategic decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing large-scale deals and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing sales plans aligned with overarching business strategies and goals.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and stakeholders effectively.
  • Cross-cultural competency and ability to work in a diverse and dynamic multinational environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the region and internationally as required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy that drives revenue growth and market share in the MENA region.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and collective performance targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive threats, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee the development and delivery of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of initiatives and offerings with market needs and customer expectations.
  • Set and monitor sales performance metrics, providing timely feedback and reports to upper management and utilizing insights to inform strategic direction.
  • Advocate for the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, training, and support to optimize their performance.
  • Drive the adoption of CRM tools and technologies to streamline sales processes and improve data management and reporting.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing brand visibility and networking opportunities.
  • Manage budget allocation for the sales department, ensuring effective utilization of resources for maximum ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
