Brief about the role:
We are hiring an experienced and dynamic
Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
to lead the COCO Division for a specific region, overseeing Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to ensure strategic alignment, operational efficiency, and regional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regional Leadership & Strategy:

Develop and implement the strategic roadmap for the COCO Division within the assigned region.

Align regional operations with the company's overall objectives, ensuring consistency in execution and performance.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and address potential challenges.
2. Operational Excellence:

Ensure operational efficiency across all company-owned stores in the region, driving adherence to Bata’s brand standards and policies.

Conduct periodic audits and store visits to assess compliance, customer service quality, and operational standards.

Identify and address bottlenecks to streamline processes and enhance overall performance.
3. Sales & Profitability:

Drive sales performance and profitability for the region, ensuring stores meet and exceed revenue and margin targets.

Analyse sales data and market insights to inform decision-making and improve results.
4. Customer Experience:

Champion the delivery of a superior customer experience across the region, ensuring consistency and quality in every store.

Address escalated customer issues and feedback, implementing strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Inventory & Visual Merchandising:

Ensure effective inventory management across the region, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations.

Work with the merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure stores are stocked with the right mix of products.
6. Compliance & Risk Management:

Ensure that all stores within the region comply with legal, financial, and operational requirements.

Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard operations and brand reputation.
7. Budgeting & Cost Control:

Develop and manage the regional budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

Monitor and control costs to maximize profitability without compromising operational excellence.
8. Reporting & Communication:

Prepare and present detailed reports on regional performance to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.

Maintain clear and open communication channels between the corporate office and the regional team.
9. Team Leadership:

Lead and oversee a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
