Regional Sales Manager

Role Overview


The Regional Sales Manager – Retail will be responsible for driving sales performance, operational excellence, and expansion across multiple retail stores within the Mumbai region. The role involves managing Area Sales Managers (ASMs), ensuring strong in-store execution, achieving revenue targets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences aligned with The Sleep Company’s brand standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional retail sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability across assigned stores.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to ensure strong field execution.
  • Monitor store performance metrics including sales conversion, ATV, footfall, and productivity.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
  • Ensure consistent brand experience, visual merchandising standards, and operational compliance across stores.
  • Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews, and coaching sessions with ASMs and Store Managers.
  • Identify opportunities for retail expansion, new store openings, and local market growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for local activations, promotions, and campaigns to drive footfall.
  • Analyze regional sales data, prepare reports, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Manage staffing plans, training initiatives, and team performance improvement programs.
  • Maintain strong inventory management practices and minimize stock issues or losses.
