About the Role

As a Regional Sales Manager, your core responsibility is to drive B2B sales of New Zealand travel products across western region. The role is fully sales-focused, involving travel agent engagement, market development, destination promotion, and lead conversion. You will represent Tara Travel at industry events, generate bookings via IBO/DMC packages, and collaborate closely with the central team based in Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities (100% Sales Focus)

  • Build strong relationships with travel agents and tour operators across Mumbai to promote Tara Travel’s New Zealand itineraries.
  • Generate leads, convert enquiries into bookings, and track sales performance actively.
  • Participate in roadshows, sales calls, trade events, and destination presentations in Mumbai, Pune, Nashik and nearby markets.
  • Coordinate with the central marketing team to run regional campaigns, product launches, and tactical sales offers.
  • Maintain regular reporting of activity and conversions to the Mumbai head office.
  • Share feedback on South Indian market trends, competitor activity, and pricing intelligence.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years of B2B travel sales experience, ideally in outbound travel or destination marketing (New Zealand/Oceania preferred).
  • Based in or willing to travel extensively across South India.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable with independent working.
  • Familiar with working via IBOs/DMCs, itinerary structure, and travel trade networks.

Compensation

  • 8,00,000-10,00,000

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
