Regional Sales Person - UAE

The Regional Salesperson is responsible for developing and growing Brett Martin Daylight Systems’ presence across UAE. This includes managing a broad portfolio of customers, fostering long‑term relationships, and serving as the primary point of contact for architects, consultants, contractors, and end‑users. A key part of the role is identifying and securing new business opportunities across the construction, architectural, transport, and industrial sectors, positioning Brett Martin as the preferred rooflight and daylighting solutions provider through targeted engagement and strategic sales activity.

Success in this position requires strong technical understanding of building materials and daylighting systems, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills. The Regional Salesperson will work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored product solutions, ensure seamless order fulfilment and after-sales support, and contribute insights to guide market strategy. This role demands proactive territory management, effective pipeline development, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service and value to customers.

About The Role

Customer Relationship & Account Management

  • Develop, manage, and grow strong relationships with key customers across the construction, architectural, industrial, and transport sectors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt support and high levels of service.
  • Maintain regular engagement with architects, consultants, contractors, and distributors to strengthen Brett Martin’s market position.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely updates, resolving challenges, and supporting project delivery.
  • Build long-term partnerships that drive repeat business and maximise customer lifetime value.

Strategic Planning & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within UAE and surrounding regions.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to shape targeted sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans to achieve revenue, growth, and market-share objectives.
  • Map key projects to ensure early engagement and maximise conversion potential.
  • Position Brett Martin as the preferred supplier through strategic relationship-building and solution selling.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the internal logistics, technical, and production teams to ensure seamless customer delivery.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies, lead times, and sales opportunities to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Participate in cross‑department planning to align sales activities with company goals and capabilities.

Sales & Commercial Support

  • Prepare and deliver proposals, and sales presentations to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline updates, and activity tracking through CRM tools.
  • Support tender submissions and commercial negotiations to secure profitable projects.
  • Ensure alignment of customer requirements with product capabilities, pricing structures, and delivery schedules.
  • Provide regular reporting on market activity, key accounts, and sales performance to management.

Technical Support & Product Training

  • Deliver technical product presentations and training sessions to architects, consultants, contractors, and installers.
  • Provide clear guidance on product selection, system compatibility, and installation requirements.
  • Support customers on-site where needed to ensure correct application of Brett Martin products.
  • Communicate technical specifications effectively to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Liaise with technical teams to address customer queries and ensure accurate information is shared.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions using CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and key account development for management review.
  • Monitor progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, identifying variances and corrective actions.
  • Track regional market activity, project pipelines, and customer demand trends to support informed forecasting.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and provide recommendations to improve results.
  • Ensure data integrity across all reporting tools to support reliable decision‑making and business planning

Required Criteria

    • Minimum experience of 5 years in sales or account management within the roofing, building materials, or wider construction/manufacturing sectors.
    • Strong understanding of Brett Martin’s target customer base, including architects, consultants and contractors.
    • Technically competent, with the ability to work closely with decision makers to develop practical, project focused solutions.
    • Highly skilled in customer relationship building, client engagement, and on site implementation support.
    • Fluent in English and Arabic
    • Proficient in CRM systems and PowerPoint reporting platforms
    • Strong negotiation abilities, with a customer centric approach to driving long term partnerships.
    • Able to work independently across the region while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
    • Confident in delivering technical product presentations and training
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
    • Willing to travel regularly throughout GCC Region, including occasional overnight stays.
