Job Title: OT Incharge

Location: Dubai
Department: Operation Theatre (OT)
Reports To: Medical Director / Nursing Director

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated OT Incharge to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Operation Theatre department. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of OT services, maintain high clinical standards, manage staff, and coordinate with surgeons and other medical teams to deliver safe and efficient patient care.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

  • Oversee the daily functioning of all Operation Theatres, ensuring readiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures in collaboration with surgeons and anesthetists.
  • Ensure availability and proper functioning of OT equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Monitor infection control practices and ensure adherence to hospital standards and regulatory guidelines.

Staff Supervision & Leadership

  • Manage and supervise OT nursing and technical staff.
  • Prepare duty rosters, manage staffing levels, and ensure adequate coverage for all procedures.
  • Conduct training, evaluations, and performance reviews for OT personnel.
  • Facilitate continuous professional development and ensure staff competency.

Patient Care & Safety

  • Ensure that all preoperative and postoperative care protocols are followed.
  • Maintain patient safety and confidentiality throughout all OT processes.
  • Coordinate emergency surgeries and manage workflow efficiently.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Maintain OT records, logs, and documentation as per hospital and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of surgical supplies and implants.
  • Prepare monthly reports on OT performance, utilization, and quality indicators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field.
  • Valid DHA license or eligibility letter.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of OT experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or incharge role.
  • Strong knowledge of OT protocols, surgical procedures, and infection control standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per month
