Registered Dental Assistant

*Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent patient care and supporting dental professionals in delivering quality services.

*Responsibilities*

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures

- Prepare patients for dental work

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Manage medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures

- Maintain infection control protocols

- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

- Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software for patient records management

- Assist with four-handed dentistry techniques

- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems

- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus

*Skills*

- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures

- Strong knowledge of medical documentation and HIPAA regulations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software

- Competency in four-handed dentistry practices

- Experience with Epic or other EHR systems is beneficial

- Prior experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous

Pay: $18.06 - $26.57 per hour
