Registered Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dental assistant who will make the office more efficient. We are currently looking for one with experience and one with less experience. We are looking for someone who can ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Well-organized personality with great attention to detail is a one of the qualifications. Training will be given on the site with Instructions and please be willing to respect the office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible. We can train anyone without any experience to be skillful at all aspects of dentistry including surgery and orthodontics.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients while taking them to the chair.
• Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

Skills

• Proven experience as dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
• RDA is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
