We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team! Duties

  • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
  • Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained
  • Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans when applicable, while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic to document treatment details accurately
  • Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluations
  • Provide patient education on dental procedures and post-treatment care to promote oral health awareness
  • Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and managing medical documentation and records
  • Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control protocols and anatomy knowledge for safe practice
  • Assist with medical coding and documentation for billing purposes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques
  • Experience performing chairside assisting in pediatric dentistry or working with pediatric patients is advantageous
  • Knowledge of X-ray techniques, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technology
  • Ability to perform vital signs measurement and assist with medical imaging procedures confidently
  • Prior experience supporting multiple specialties such as prosthodontics or endodontics is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and coordinate with team members
