Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment
• Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry
• Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed
• Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft.
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures with proficiency in dental terminology and four-handed dentistry techniques

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a fast-paced dental clinic environment, with familiarity in general dentistry procedures
• Strong knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, anatomy, and dental assisting standards
• Experience operating dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners
• Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft for managing medical records and documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology and dental terminology to ensure clear patient interactions
• Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable, along with experience assisting in endodontic or prosthodontic treatments
• Certification in radiography (X-ray) is required; additional certifications in medical coding or pediatrics are advantageous

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
