As a Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant, you’ll be our hero in scrubs, making every visit a magical experience for our young patients. Whether it’s calming a nervous child with humor, passing the right tool like a mind reader, or chatting with parents about cavity-free futures, you'll be an integral part of our fun and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pediatric dentist with exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and procedures
• Take and develop digital X-rays
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene
• Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for young patients
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical area
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
• Accurately chart patient records using OpenDental software
• Prepare and explain treatment plans to parents/guardians
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

What We Are Looking For:

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification – Required
• Coronal polishing and sealant certification – Preferred (or must obtain during probation, we will pay for them!)
• X-ray certification – Required
• CPR certified – Required (We will pay for your BLS training as a group every 2 years!)
• Experience in pediatric dentistry – Preferred but not required
• Familiarity with OpenDental software – Preferred
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office
• Passion for working with children and making dental visits a positive experience
• A team player with a positive attitude

Schedule & Location

• North Austin, TX
• Full-time position – Monday through Friday
• Monday - Wednesday: 7:30 AM until duties are completed (Office closes at 5 PM)
• Thursday: Off (tentative day for GA cases or team meetings if needed)
• Friday: 7:30 AM until duties are completed (Office closes at 5 PM)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $26.50 per hour
