Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Baxter Family Dentistry is looking to add an upbeat, outgoing Registered Dental Assistant team member to our dental family.

We are looking for a dependable, dedicated, highly organized, team player who will support the dentist in providing quality patient care. We are looking for assistants who have experience with all types of procedures, including dentures and implants. Expanded functions a plus!

We focus on providing the best patient care possible in our small, hometown feeling office. We would love to add you to part of our team!

Schedule:

• Monday - Thursday 8-4:30p
• No Fridays or Weekends

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - fillings, crowns, extractions, dentures, and implants
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of operatories
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Review medical histories with patient and accurate charting using Open Dental (experience not required)
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in Tennessee
• Radiology certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification
• Open Dental Experience (a plus but not required)
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment

Previous dental office experience is a plus and we are willing to train the right person to specific procedures we use in our office. Please reach out with any questions you may have!
