Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) MUST be mass. state licensed

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team by providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various clinical procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. COMPENSATION is based on performance and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
  • Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Participate in infection control procedures to maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Prosthodontics and Endodontics is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Dental coding practices is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
  • Ability to take vital signs accurately.
  • Experience with X-Ray technology and procedures.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy.
  • Knowledge of infection control standards within a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
