Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist for our Private P.P.O. Dental Office to join our Dental Team on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursdays. Hours are from 8 am. to 4 pm. Wednesdays 9am. to 5 pm. We would like someone who desires a long-term career and is interested in being with our practice for many years. Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients
- Take dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for oral care
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, techniques, and best practices
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59.00 - $60.00 per hour
