Registered General Nurse - Care Home

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our Care Home team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring the well-being of patients across various departments. Duties

• Deliver comprehensive resident care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily activities
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols
• Assist healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
• Maintain detailed and accurate resident records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
• Educate residents and their families about health management, medication use,. infection control policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate resident treatment plans

Requirements

• Valid registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or relevant regulatory body
• Proven experience in care Home setting is preferred
• Competence in medication administration, including understanding of drug interactions and side effects
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide empathetic resident support
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends.
• A caring attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient service
