About the Role

As a Registered Midwife with Starling Services, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and compassionate care to mothers and newborns. You will be responsible for providing expert clinical support during antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care. This role requires a balance of technical skill, professional judgment, and empathy, ensuring positive experiences and outcomes for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to mothers and newborns.

• Perform and respond effectively to:

• - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation

• - Emergency situations

• - Paediatric Advanced Life Support

• - Triage and patient assessment

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes.

• Maintain professional standards and compliance with clinical protocols.

Mandatory Skills Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration.

• Proven experience in midwifery and emergency care.

• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

• Evidence of up-to-date vaccinations including:

• - Measles, Mumps, Rubella

• - Hepatitis B

• - Varicella

• - Pertussis (within the last 10 years)

• Current criminal history clearance (general, aged care, or NDIS).

• Current training certifications for required clinical skills.

• Proof of identity and right to work in Australia.
