Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients across various settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care in various settings including acute care, long-term care, and outpatient facilities.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of services.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.

Skills
The successful candidate will have experience or proficiency in the following areas:

  • Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks EMR systems
  • Critical care experience including ICU and Level I/II trauma center experience
  • Cardiac catheterization, dialysis, IV infusion, suturing
  • Medical office experience with knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
  • Experience in hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or behavioral health
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge
  • Patient assessment skills including vital signs monitoring and diagnostic evaluation
  • Proficiency in medication administration, airway management, phlebotomy, venipuncture
  • Experience with home care, outpatient services, or urgent care settings
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
