Riphah International University is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in patient care, IV therapy, medication administration, and airway management techniques. With at least two years of experience and a valid PNC Card, the nurse will play a critical role in monitoring vital signs, managing clinical documentation, and educating patients on health management. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who follows established protocols to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes while maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare teams. The Registered Nurse will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and respond promptly to patient needs. This role does not involve managing a team but demands excellent organizational and critical thinking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients, supporting clinical operations, and continuously improving patient care practices at Riphah International University.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care including assessment, monitoring, and treatment as per prescribed protocols.
• Administer intravenous therapy and medications accurately, ensuring proper dosage and timing.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate, and promptly address any abnormalities.
• Perform airway management techniques and basic life support to stabilize patients in emergency situations.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation related to patient care, treatments, and administered medications.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medication instructions, and post-treatment care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and other nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Adhere strictly to infection control practices, hospital policies, and safety regulations to promote a safe clinical environment.
• Identify and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare practitioner for timely intervention.
• Ensure the readiness and proper handling of medical equipment and supplies necessary for nursing duties.
• Participate actively in continuous professional development and skill enhancement opportunities to stay current with nursing best practices.
