Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with approved clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. The RN supports physicians and healthcare teams in delivering patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, medical history, and current condition.
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
- Prepare patients for medical procedures and provide post-procedure care and instructions.
- Maintain accurate and complete nursing documentation and medical records.
- Ensure infection control, safety standards, and proper sterilization of equipment.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health management.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support as required.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with DHA / MOH / DOH regulations and clinic policies.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Valid DHA / MOH / DOH Registered Nurse license (or eligibility).
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (clinic or hospital preferred).
- Knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care standards, and infection control.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS is an advantage).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
