  • Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Endocrine/Metabolic, Genitourinary/Renal, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Orthopedics, Total joint replacement, Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy care/management, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Cardiovascular, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Epidural analgesia, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Substance Withdrawal, Traumatic Brain injury, Plastics, Surgical drains, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac

  • MS/Tele*, ER Holding*, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown*, IV insulin protocols*, Titration of Insulin drips*, Renal transplant*, TURP*, Phlebotomy*, Traction*, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance*, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)*

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/holiday
  • You must have flexibility to start four (4) hours prior to scheduled start time or four (4) hours after scheduled start time based on limited critical department need.

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units, including ER boarders, as needed. May float to other IP areas at Health Alliance - Leominster Campus, or to Emergency Department for boarders.
