About the Role

Starling Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at an aged care facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical care, support residents in maintaining their dignity and independence, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment. This position requires a balance of clinical expertise, empathy, and strong communication skills to deliver the best outcomes for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in an aged care setting.

• Monitor and manage residents’ health conditions with professionalism and care.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Collaborate with care teams to ensure holistic support for residents.

• Provide guidance and leadership to care staff.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with clinical standards and aged care regulations.

Mandatory Skills Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration.

• Proven experience in aged care nursing.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Evidence of up-to-date vaccinations, including:

• - Measles, Mumps, Rubella

• - Hepatitis B

• - Varicella

• - Pertussis (within the last 10 years)

• Current criminal history clearance (general, aged care, or NDIS).

• Valid training certifications relevant to aged care.

• Proof of identity and right to work in Australia.
