Our 27-bed unit provides both Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, bariatric, general, vascular and general surgeries. Primary job responsibilities include close physiological monitoring, management of anesthesia side effects, administration of medications, completion of accurate and timely documentation, discharge planning, patient and family education, adherence to established policies and standards, and collaboration with other members of the healthcare team. We foster a collaborative team environment focusing on engagement, patient satisfaction, continuous growth, and excellence in care. An ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills. Some call shifts are required.
