Job Title: ICU Nurse
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Reports To: ICU In-charge / Nursing Superintendent
Job Summary:
The ICU Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality critical care nursing services to patients admitted in the Intensive Care Unit. The role involves continuous monitoring, timely interventions, administration of medications, and coordination with doctors and other healthcare staff to ensure patient safety and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs, ECG, ventilators, infusion pumps, and other life-supporting equipment.
- Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and blood products safely and accurately.
- Assist doctors during bedside procedures and emergency interventions (e.g., intubation, CPR, central line insertion).
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic techniques at all times.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Document nursing care, observations, and interventions accurately in patient records.
- Communicate effectively with doctors, patients’ relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patient attendants/family regarding patient condition, procedures, and care needs.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of ICU equipment and instruments.
- Participate in emergency codes (Code Blue, Code Red, etc.).
- Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and training programs.

Qualifications & Experience:
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council Registration.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in ICU or critical care nursing (freshers with ICU training may also be considered).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
