Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Oncology Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to cancer patients, assisting in oncology treatments, and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care.
• Administer medications, chemotherapy infusions, and other prescribed treatments in accordance with oncology protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor patients for treatment reactions, side effects, and complications, and respond promptly to any adverse events.
• Assess patient conditions, record vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medication management, and symptom control.
• Assist physicians during oncology procedures and treatments.
• Maintain strict infection control and safety measures in handling chemotherapy drugs and hazardous materials.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, and clinical standards.
• Participate in patient care planning, follow-ups, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in oncology nursing or chemotherapy administration.
• Certification in chemotherapy administration or oncology nursing is an advantage.
• Strong clinical, patient care, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
