Location: Ferticlinic Fertilization Centre - Abu Dhabi

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse – OT (IVF Facility) is responsible for providing specialized nursing care within the operating theatre of a fertility clinic. The role focuses on assisting in IVF-related procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring patient safety in compliance with DOH regulations and clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating theatre environment for IVF procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and positioning
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to any complications
• Perform surgical counts and ensure all instruments and materials are accounted for
• Adhere strictly to infection control and aseptic techniques
• Prepare and handle surgical instruments and IVF-related equipment
• Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care to patients
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care
• Coordinate with embryologists and the IVF team for smooth workflow
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of medical supplies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Valid DOH License or eligibility
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Operation Theatre (OT)
• Experience in an IVF or fertility clinic is preferred
• Proficient in scrubbing and circulating roles
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures
• Must be able to speak Tagalog
• Good communication and teamwork skills
