- Provide antenatal care and advice for pregnant women, including ultrasound scans, dietary advice, and general health checks.
- Manage labor and childbirth, including performing deliveries, managing complications, and providing postnatal care.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions related to women’s reproductive health, such as infertility, menopause issues, gynecological cancers, and sexual health problems.
- Perform procedures and surgeries such as hysterectomies, caesarean sections, and other gynecological operations.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team alongside other healthcare professionals including nurses, midwives, anesthetists, and specialists.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses and discussing treatment options.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records, and keeping up-to-date with latest treatments and medical research in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
- Provide emotional support and advice to patients facing complex or distressing situations, such as infertility or cancer diagnosis.
