Registrar - Pediatrics

The Registrar in Paediatrics is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care to pediatric patients under the supervision of senior medical staff. This role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing illnesses and conditions specific to infants, children, and adolescents, while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The Registrar also participates in clinical teaching and continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care:
• Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering appropriate investigations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with senior medical staff.
• Perform medical procedures and interventions as required.
• Manage emergencies and acute conditions in pediatric patients.
• Patient Management:
• Monitor and review patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers, providing education and support.
• Ensure detailed and accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Work closely with consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, and other medical staff to deliver coordinated care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Assist in the supervision and training of junior medical staff, interns, and medical students.

Pay: ₹79,437.46 - ₹121,159.04 per month
