The Role
Position Title: Regulatory Data Analyst
Position Summary
The Regulatory Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting the implementation, management, and ongoing optimization of the company’s new regulatory database/system. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who will learn the system inside out and ensure data integrity, compliance, and efficiency across regulatory processes.
Position Scope
The role will primarily support global operations and requires close collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, and IT teams. It will also interact with other cross-functional teams/departments as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop expert knowledge of the new regulatory system and serve as a subject matter expert (SME)
  • Implement, document, and update regulatory processes, including process mapping.
  • Conduct large-scale data management activities, mass uploads/downloads, and bulk data updates.
  • Create, edit, and maintain template for document generation.
  • Partner with the IT team to perform database administration tasks, troubleshooting, and support system enhancements.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and timely reporting.
  • Provide training and support to end users, ensuring consistent system adoption and effective use.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
Education & Experience:
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, regulatory operations, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated and hands on experience with databases, querying languages (e.g. SQL), or system administration is preferred.
  • Prior experience in regulatory environments, compliance systems, or process mapping preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Talents
  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to extract, query, and manage large volumes of data.
  • Knowledge of process improvement and process mapping methodologies.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across IT, compliance and regulatory functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Working Conditions
  • May require occasional travel for training or system implantation support.
  • Hybrid role (3 days in Office and 2 days work from home)
Pay and Benefits
The estimated base pay range for this position is: $70,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive program.
