Regulatory & Permitting Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory & Permitting Officer to manage permitting processes and secure approvals for infrastructure works. The role involves close coordination with authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage permitting processes for infrastructure works (roads, utilities, developments)
• Coordinate with government authorities to obtain required approvals
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and approval requirements
• Track permitting timelines and maintain accurate records
• Review submissions for compliance before authority approvals
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders on documentation
• Identify and resolve permitting issues or delays
• Provide regular status updates to project teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture, or related field (Mandatory)
• Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Law, or Project Management (Preferred)
• 10–12+ years in permitting and regulatory roles
• Experience in PMC/Consultancy environment preferred
• Background in infrastructure projects and authority approvals
• Experience handling multiple permits across large-scale projects
