Rehab Aide

Under the supervision of the Therapy Supervisor, the Rehab Aide assists therapists and nursing staff with the provision of rehabilitative care for a variety of patients. He/She contributes to the plan of care through participation on the interdisciplinary team.

Minimum:

• High school diploma or GED.
  

LICENSE:

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

WORK EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:

• One to two years in a rehab setting.
  

SKILLS:
Minimum:

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Medical Terminology course completion.
