Job Summary

Provide support to the clinical team in order to optimize quality and efficiency of patient care.

Accountabilities

Assists therapists with patient care by transporting patients, assisting with a patient's personal care needs and monitoring the patient's condition and reporting status to appropriate individual. 25%

Prepares the rehab environment for patient care by cleaning and organizing treatment area and stocking area with necessary supplies. 25%

Assists therapist with patient transfers, bed positioning and exercise prescription, utilizing safe body mechanics and proper technique as instructed. 20%

Functions as a team member who supports and collaborates well with others. Offers assistance to others and communicates effectively the needs or status of patients. 15%

Performs clerical duties as assigned. 10%

Attends department, team and organization meetings as assigned. 5%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

No previous experience required

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses

BLS certification

Other Required Skills

Basic computer skills.- required

Office equipment: fax, scanners, copier - preferred
