Our Rehabilitation Director (DOR) will join a passionate, interdisciplinary team that values collaboration and compassionate leadership.

JOB SUMMARY

The Rehabilitation Director (DOR) oversees all aspects of therapy operations — including physical, occupational, and speech therapy — ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. This leadership role includes:

  • Providing strong leadership and mentorship to the rehab team

  • Overseeing patient care, productivity, and documentation compliance

  • Coordinating therapy schedules and interdisciplinary communication

  • Ensuring accurate authorization and billing procedures

  • Attending care plan meetings and collaborating with nursing and administrative staff

  • Maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding facility policies

  • Supporting the development and implementation of new clinical programs

  • Creating a culture of respect, compassion, and superior customer service

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of an accredited university with a degree in Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy (MS, MA, BS, BA, or Associate)

  • Holds current state license and/or registration (as applicable)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Commitment to excellence, integrity, and resident-centered care
