Laurel Park Rehab and Healthcare Center is a skilled nursing facility operating 24/7, dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, ensuring dignity, comfort, and quality of life for residents and their families. Our Rehabilitation Director (DOR) will join a passionate, interdisciplinary team that values collaboration and compassionate leadership.
The Rehabilitation Director (DOR) oversees all aspects of therapy operations — including physical, occupational, and speech therapy — ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. This leadership role includes:
Providing strong leadership and mentorship to the rehab team
Overseeing patient care, productivity, and documentation compliance
Coordinating therapy schedules and interdisciplinary communication
Ensuring accurate authorization and billing procedures
Attending care plan meetings and collaborating with nursing and administrative staff
Maintaining regulatory compliance and upholding facility policies
Supporting the development and implementation of new clinical programs
Creating a culture of respect, compassion, and superior customer service
Graduate of an accredited university with a degree in Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy (MS, MA, BS, BA, or Associate)
Holds current state license and/or registration (as applicable)
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to excellence, integrity, and resident-centered care
